You may want to reword your question. Do you mean addicted instead of stolen? If you are referring to people dying from playing too long that is likely because they are individuals who are not taking care of themselves and likely had a physical problem to start with, such as a weak heart. Players injest energy drinks with caffeine and loads of sugar... combined with loss of sleep and an adrenaline pumping game can be too much.If you like fantasy role playing and online interactive worlds with an open ended gaming environment, then you would likely enjoy WoW. It requires a lot of time and dedication to reach end game content and the ability to play with friends around the globe is extremely appealing. People complain about paying $15 a month, when that is just .50 cents a day. If you play 5 hrs a day, that is just .10 cents. I can tell you I would spend far more $$ per hour by going to a movie, to the bar, out to eat etc. I can't tell you how much $$ I have saved by having the game. If you lack time management skills and the power to control your gaming addictions, then it would likely be better is you never played.

Because the game allows people to act like stupid idiots and unleash their idiocy that they normally would never do so in real life.Call it an escape from reality. Personally though, to me the game is entirely way too simple and can entertain the dumb majority. Of course, of the dumb majority, some of them inevitably can't deal with the stress of having to work hard in real life and therefore choose to immerse themselves in such environment until they completely neglect their real lives, since, their lives in WoW is far more simple and relatively stress-free.
