Do world of warcraft, it totally owns, lord of the rings gets boring. lol

Depends on what kind of game you want!LOTRO- More focused on the books storyline, less people play it but that is simply because it's a new game. Their is no other faction like in WoW so you can't kill other people unless you do something called "Monster Play" which is a massive battlefield of just complete slaughtering of other players... Personally, I think LOTRO is a "better" game graphics and gameplay wise, but ...WoW- Addicting to no END! Very social, over 8 million people play each day...Focused on questing and PvP (Player vs. Player) Meaning their is an Opposite Faction (Alliance and Horde) and you pick which side your on... Depending what type of server you join in the game, you can be attacked and killed by members of the opposite faction if your in a PVP Server. PvE servers don't allow players of opposite faction to kill you which reduces the threat of the game. Role-Playing servers are for serious players who pretend to be who they are in the game and really are serious about every aspect of the game *No goofing around in RP Servers*. Their both GREAT games but I say if you want potential and to be in a game with people that are just now getting started start playing LOTRO but if you really want to get addicted to a MMORPG than go with WoW.
