world of warcraft outlands?

hello i am a new player (to outlands that is) im a lvl 60 human pally but i cannot find very many quests for outlands i have found like 2 or 3. so heres the real question. how much longer until i get into the quests that really pay off im trying to get my epic mount and 150g really isnt coming quick enough and the drops for ah in hellfire are way to low for my liking. is there something i can do to make this go a little quicker? am i doing something wrong? should i even be in this area yet? any help provided would be greatly appreciatted(sp)!! thank you.

Hellfire is the "starting" zone for Outlands, so you should be in the right place. The first quest starts outside the portal and chains you to the Alli city (I play Horde, so I don't know the name offhand). There are quite a few quests there; check inside all the buildings. Outside to the east is the caravan, and a quest should take you there; to the west (very close) is a cave with a few quests. You should be able to find more than 2-3, that's for sure. There are two other places where you can get quests; one is a bit south of your town, the other is a bit west.It's not really the quests that pay a ton (a couple of gold per quest) but rather the crappy drops. Grey weapons sell for over a gold, some of the meat and random stuff has crazy prices. 150g should come pretty quickly, especially if you supplement your income with the AH (your gathering profession, cloth, greens that drop that you don't use). It's much faster when you hit 70 and get the xp-to-gold conversion, but I know you don't want to wait that long.Do the dungeon there as well (Ramparts?), that will help a lot. Ask your guild members for advice, or check http://www.thottbot.com . Either way, Outlands will get you to 150g faster than Azeroth. Enjoy!
