Alright im pretty new at this game, I am working on a character that is level 9. Im a Gnome Warlock. What weapons can I train to use, what are the best weapons I can use right now, and where can I get a good leveling guide? Or can you tell me anything else that can help me as to what professions to learn etc. I pretty much would like to know anything I could.

There really arent any good weapons at lvl 9, not atleast til lvl 19, There's an "instance" (dungeon separated from every one else) called "The Deadmines" or "Vancleef" there's a staff called the Emberstone Staff dropped by the 2nd to last boss in there. For a good wep/armor/dungeon/quest guide, go to www.thottbot.com it helps

Warlocks can use daggers and wands without any training; you can pick up skills to use swords and staves from the weapons trainers in the capital cities. The best leveling guide is probably the one from Brady Games that you can get in a store. But there are some helpful websites, http://www.thottbot.com is my favorite. You can search all your class quests, spells, class armor, whatever.Professions: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/professions/index.htmlWoW's official site lists the basics, and there are links to some good guides made by players. As a warlock, you can only wear cloth armor, so tailoring is a solid choice. You can put anything with it; as you pick up cloth from humanoid mobs you kill, many people will take enchanting (make your armor and weapons stronger) or a gathering profession (herbalism, mining, or skinning - which is good because you can get leather to supplement your tailoring recipes that need it). Another good choice would be herbalism/alchemy, so you can learn to make potions that heal you, replenish your mana, increase your intellect, etc.I highly recommend buying Brady Games' guide; when I first started out, it was absolutely useful, and I don't know if I could have gotten by without it. It has maps of all the zones, talks about the various quests and dungeons - pretty much everything you need to know.
