Default World of Warcraft (WOW) - Power Leveling - Suspension?

Okay, I did a stupid thing, I have a low level character in 30's (my very first one) on World of Warcraft and wanted to catch up to my son who has been playing for 1 year. I paid a service to level me up 4 levels so that I could do quests with him and also get a Mount so that I wouldn't have to spend hours walking in the game trying to get to places. Well, only hours into the service power leveling me, I received a Suspension Email from Blizzard for 72 hours pending investigation. I am so upset. It wasn't worth the money or trying to go up that small amount of levels. I believe what has happened is Blizzard has software that detects IP addresses of people. And, if you are logging in say in Florida and the Power leveler accesses your account from California that sends up red flags to Blizzard and hence they suspend the account. So now my question is, once I get my account back (in 72 hours I hope), how do I level up 3 levels? Any guides suggestions? Thanks and I apologize to Blizzard!Wayward -- no, this is "she who has no life." -- taken from South Park episode.Angel - That's okay, I am a mom. LOL! I am Alliance Human Warrior. I was doing quests in Dustwallow Marsh but I got to a point that the beasts are at level 40 and I can't do that high by myself, so now I am back in Stranglethorn Vale, but having the same problem, I need to get Kurzen's head in the Stockpile, and can't go in that cave by myself. It's hard doing quests by myself, and its harder to find people, I am not in a Guild.Woodmutt -- honestly, I didn't know. And, like most of us, when we join forums on the internet, we all quickly scroll to the bottom of the Terms & Conditions and click the "accept terms" of use. I figured it was the usual "no spamming" and "no vulgar language." So, I just clicked away. Also, when I was searching WOW and quest strategies on the internet, is how I came across these sites that provided this leveling service and the one I chose never mentioned anything about it being in violation of Blizzard's rules. So, no, I didn't know, but now I do, and I learned the hard way. I just hope I get my account back and able to play with my son.

Honestly it's entirely likely you may not get your account back, Blizzard is very much not in to power leveling services. Oh well, let's assume it's a standard suspension for the time being...The best way to level without being legitamtely power leveled is to quest, straight up. It's even better if you can solo quest or keep it to maybe a 2 man team. A while back they made it easier to level from 1-60 so it's even more true now. I think in my 30s I quested in Desolace because there's several easy "kill quests" (Kill "X" number of "Y" monster) there and seemingly very few people to compete with. There's also a faction based quest line there for either the Gelkis or Magram centaurs and building faction is never a bad thing. On a good weekend I could easily bang out 5 pre-level 60 levels if nobody bothers me for help or running instances.I find instances to be an extremely poor way to level up unless you're in a very solid group, even better if the group is on voice chat. In my experience though you always end up with at least 1 guy that gets the whole party killed, possibly repeatedly especially in the case of level 30ish and the instance Gnomeregan. The key to grinding experience is to not die very often so that you're steadily building up to the next level.

Ive done instances, groups that simply went after elite mobs, Quests... in all... the old fashioned method of solo killing mobs has worked fastest. As to quests... they can consume more time running around than if you just stay in place and down mob after mob. The quests you want to do are the ones that ask you to down some number of what your already going to down anyway. Don't take a quest that requires you to travel extensively nor one that requires a group to take down. By the time you get the group together you could have had the same xp just grinding regular mobs anyway. Just find an area with a lot of mods at the desired level and have at it... one after the next....

HAHA, no offense, but it serves you right. If you violate the terms of agreement in World of Warcraft's Terms and Conditions, you get suspended. The best thing you can do is to Appeal to blizzard, apoligize for the problem, and then just do what the rest of us do. Quest and grind. Just do all the quests your level can do, then once your finished in that area, type in General chat what area is best for your current level. easy enough for me, and im a level 41 after 2 weeks.

Just out of curiosity...Did you know before hand that it was against Blizzards TOS to powerlevel and that there was a chance your account could be suspended and/or banned? Thanks for answering my question. I was just curious and not trying to say anything about it at all.
