guess it depends on horde or alliance. but the fastest way is to use all your money from your lvl 70 and pump it into your new toon. so you dont have to waste time farming anything and can just grind grind grind. You want to make sure that you are doing all the quests you can when you are going to a certain area so you dont waste time running back and forth. theres a ton of powerleveling guides out there, but Ive never really read any of them.. best is to use your experience and just keep grinding them quests.

do quests and run instances with groups whenever you get the chance. instance runs are much more faster and fun than questing and grinding. rogues can level just as fast as hunters.instance > quest > grind

Well, when I started my 70 rogue I played it maybe 2-3 hours a night and some on the weekend too... I could have been WAY more aggressive about grinding but I took about 7 weeks to get to 60 and another 8 weeks to get to 70. Now, all the reputation and quests.. I spent maybe 2 months on that getting enough blue gear to get attack power up. At that point he was wearing enough gear to enter Kara or do heroic mode instances. Worthy of note... the DPS formula is different for the Rogue than for the hunter. On AH search for leather gear that is "of the bandit" or "of power". you need agility AND attack power... LOTS of attack power. For PvP if thats your bag you need 380 resilliance and lots of stamina as well.... but attack power is number one in causing DPS.Look at http://thottbot.com/?formula=1As to the grind... a mace spec rogue can work 2 to 3 levels above his own level (non-elite of course) so always look for areas that have mobs accordingly. At 70 if you want to PvP then look at swords.. if you want to PvE and stun lock then stay with maces.See:http://wowvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=66http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=14542046&sid=1http://www.freewarcraftguides.com/rogue_grinding_guide.phphttp://wow.stratics.com/content/features/guides/http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/guides.html?guide=401

I leveled my Rogue from 1-70 in about 45 days. The key to this is that if you truely want to power level the toon, you must devote your time to that toon and leave your other toon virtually untouched. For me I did my skettis dailies on my shammy and made my earthstorm diamond to generate a cash flow, and spent the rest of my time questing. Do not obther with instances or BG's until you get to outlands as it will slow you down. Go out and do 4 or 5 quests, then go back and turn them in. Rinse/repeat and you will be there in no time.

With the new xp buff it is very easy to level an alt to 70. I leveled my rogue from 1-70 in a little under 6 game "days" In real life it took me a little under a month. The best guide out there that is free is Jame's Alliance leveling guide (google that exact phrase)It is broken down into 5 partsPart 1 - 30-40Part 2 40-50Part 3 50-60Part 4 60-65Part 5 65-70They are also set up so that when you level you have a large amount of quests left in the level 70 areas for a very good amount of cash.Happy questing.
