Just to let you know that I bought this and it worked on my wii.
however I do not have the latest firmware as I havent upgraded it since ordering the freeloader. I have heard though (and don't hold me to this) that it works on the one after that. Please post any questions or problems here and I will be glad to try and help you. |

Well the thing is the game you are trying to play may have an update on the disc. Nintendo are very clever and make it so you cannot play the game without installing the update. The freeloader bypasses the update to stop nintendo blocking it but it als offers an alternative method where it does do the update. To do this, put it in once, watch the bars go accross eject it and then put it in again. After the bars go across the second time you can put the game in and select to do the update.
Another reason it may not be working is if you have your wii set to 50hz. This may stop it from working and you can set it to 60hz in the wii options menu to fix this. Hope that helps, Homie |
