well nate it is because nintendo is only making a limeted sapply you can buy them on ebay or ebgames.com gamestop.com if you give me the money at school i will buy one on ebay for you and if you dont pick me as best answer i willkick ur ass the next time i see you

It is the worst marketing stragety, but nintendo is selling limited supplies so people will always want. It works, but is just freakin annoying!

Alot of stores get shipments on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday mornings. I got mine by calling several stores one Sunday morning. I bought it from Toys-R-Us. Just last week I was in Gamestop and they had a few used Wii's that were not advertised. You can find them but there few and far between. Toys R Us had about 12 systems when I bought mine. You'll find one but it will just take some time. Believe me the Wii is worth buying.

I read that besides its popularity, some piece of techonlogy inside the wii or sensor(i cant remember which one) that is very hard to mass produce, i'm not saying the're not mass producing them to a certain concent, but as long as there still popular it will be very hard to get one. I got mine by waking up really early on a sunday to get mine, dont hesitate to find one get it as soon as you can.

hi... the wii is a hot console right now with high demands... especially with fun and exciting games out and coming out like mario galxy, super smash brothers brawl, mario and so on... i wish you luck on your journey on finding a wii...remember to reserve it..

one thing is the wii is very popular, they are constantly sending them out, but people buy them up. Your best bet on buying a wii would be going out of town, ordering online, and ordering from nintendo themselves. But I cant promise any cheap prices.

My girlfriend bought a Wii a few months ago from Circuit City online. They wouldn't sell it unless we bought 2 accessories and 2 games for it though, totaling almost $500.

Our problem now is finding games worth buying for it. I bought and loved Chocobos Dungeon even though it only lasted 3 days. The Wii has too many racing games, and I really don't care for the games being so interactive. I bought Resident Evil 4 for Gamecube instead of Wii because it was way cheaper and I couldn't imagine playing it with a Wiimote.

Seams like all the "good" games are coming out for both PS3 and Xbox, but not Wii.
