Visit Newegg.com and choose the following

Intel E7200 $125
Intel P35 Gigabyte mobo $80
2GB DDR2-800 GSkill $40
ATI Radeon HD4850 $150
DVD writer Liteon/LG $30
250GB HDD Seagate $60
600watt PSU + Cool master mid tower Max $120

Total: $600

22" LCD monitor 5ms or less response $200

Total: $800
--------------------------------------
You can go lower. Instead of the E7200 , you can buy Intel E2180 $70.

But I suggest you stick to E7200.

I agree with silly for parts. Any P35 mobo will be fine unless you want to overclock. P45 seems to be a waste and no need to go to either P38 or P48 unless you want to SLI/Crossfire you video cards.

The ATI 4850 is in the perfect sweet performance/$$$ sweet spot now.

You have some flexibility in the case but don't skimp on the power supply (PS). I personally have the Antec Sonata III which comes with a nice 500W PS and super quiet. Case WITH PS for $100. Great deal for the budget-conscious.

Hard drives are cheap. Might as well get a much larger for not much more cash. Western Digital's are very fast (almost as fast as the much more $$$ 10K raptors) and quiet. 640GB for $90 at NewEgg.

I'd be surprised if this could not run WAR at a good resolution at the highest settings. Can't say for sure until the game comes out though!
