im gonna be getting Warhammer Online....and today i saw the min. requirments and it made me sad face...i have to upgrade to at least a gig but im gonna upgrade to 2 gigs and i have compatable ones thx to great newegg.com but i need a new graphics card right now i havnt seen what my PS is my comp is about 3 years old Dell Dimension 3000 so its probably a 400-450 W and i need to find a graphics card that can run on something that low i have a radeon 9250 right now but its not on the card list so i need an upgrade would love the 9800 GTX or 8800 GT from Nvidia but my power supply wont support that and since its most likely my parents paying for this until i get enough money to build my own so right now im wondering what all of you recommend its lowest is the nvidia 6 series but id like at least something mid range so i can have the graphics decently cranked so i dont ruin such an amazing game lol

Yea im in about the same boat your in I also own a Dimension 3000... Theres not a whole lot of video cards we have to choose from as the only upgrade you can put in is a PCI card.... No AGP or PCI express.... I would recommend the EVGA GeForce 6200 256 MB PCI card its about the best you can put in i bought one of Newegg for about 50 dollars so its fairly inexpensive and quite a bit faster than what you currently have. You also won't have to upgrade the power supply as the one in it has enough juice to power it... However if you decide to upgrade the power supply the motherboard is a 20 pin connection and most newer power supplies are a 24 pin connection so you'll have to buy an adapter so it'll plug in.. Here are some links to what i bought for mine
Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130289&Tpk=evga%2bpci%2 bgeforce%2b6200 Power Supply Adapter http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812119022 Also what might give the system a boost is to upgrade the ram inside the motherboard can support up to 2 GB if you pick some up its 184 PIN SDRAM Hope this helps |

You need to find out the maximum processor speed for your board by looking up the board model on the internet. You can always add more ram for a cheap but good boost. Put in the maximum RAM.
