NOTE: Use the "How not to get scammed" with a grain of salt.
When someone AIM's or MSN's you for something regarding a trade or sale, and it interests you. Start asking them some simple questions. Q - How old are you? Q - What's your name? Q - Where do you reside? Q - What's your Phone Number? NOTE: If they don't answer these questions, that tells you something. Either they aren't committed to the trade, they have something to hide, or maybe they just don't feel like giving their number out. But when you do have their number. Proceed to Find a Person or Business with our free online White Pages and Yellow Pages and go to "Reverse DNS" type in their phone number and see if it matches with the information they give you, if it does, then they probably are serious about trading. No scammer is going to give you his Phone Number, Age, and Name. With that information you can report them to Local Police Departments and or Internet Fraud Agencies. Also a scammer isn't going to waste his time with you, he'll probably come out with an excuse like "Hold on, my mom is calling me" or "One second, I'll be right back" then they'll either log off or ignore you. I hope some of you guys/gals read this and use this method, It could save you a lot of money, and some of your accounts. Thanks, Bradley |

So same old scam. They use paypal and charge back. This happened to me last night. Blizzard is about useless in helping with the problems. Sad thing is that I tracked down the person who owned the paypal account, and she was a lady in her 60's in Canada. The person who made the bid was Moore7. I am just sick!!
