Under the hood, nothing has changed as far as graphical processing power for the PSP Slim. It does get better battery life, and the slim form factor is great; however, developers have always had access to the PSPs 333Mhz processor setting. It all depended on whether or not they chose to use it.Short answer: both versions will be able to handle the same games, in the same fashion. The PSP Slim may only have faster loading times.Best of luck to you!Regards,Martin

No, they have to keep compatibility with the old PSP. The only thing different about it performance wise is that it has extra on-board flash memory to cache data from the UMD so you won't get as many load times and your game will probably run with a slightly higher FPS as the flash is much faster than UMD.

absolutely yes.the new one is more thinner, much lighter, and sleeker than the original. It's also got a few other new tricks under the hood..Can't say here because too much. It still retains all of the impressive media and online features of the original PSP,deep lineup of great game titles that offer better graphics.so no problem for your concerned games!

like someone said.... they have to keep the gaames compatible with the old psp's that people have.... but since the psp slim loads faster than the regular psp i think the enjoyment of the game is more fun with the psp slim.. that good thing is that te psp slim has longer battery life so you can play those games longer than the regular psp..
