I would have to say the 360. It has better online capabilites, a better game library and it's pretty much more for your money.Although I have a wii and their great but I know u said ps3 or 360.

this isn't going to get you anywhere asking that because people are so bias of the one they like and will tell you the features of the one they have/ used/ mate has got played it once didn't like it Ect....go to an impartial website to find the reviews on them because there are good points and bad points to both machines PS3 (i own one) has a smaller library of games that will be getting bigger soon, superb graphics and as you will know costs that little bit extra, but it has free online gamingXBOX360 (never used one) supposedly overheats fast without the software/firmware update, larger amount of games with excellent graphics but it will cost you to play online games (that will make the PS3's cost even out in the end)see what you want more out of a console and pick one.....you might have to close your eyes and point, very tricky decision.Good Luck

Wii: There fun but there arn't that many great single player games at the mo and u'll soon get bored.. If i were you i would get one of these as well as either a ps3 or xbox as there different but u can't really play them as long as the other two as ur arms will begin to hurt. Wait till after christmas when the new mario and super smash brothers comes out as well as loads of other games plus the price will go down...PSP..I love my psp but i use it more as a media/mp4 player then a gaming device. The games are OK but there are no real stand out ones and most are to hard to play with the controls tho some are pretty good. The burnout games and Pro Evo are the games of choice. The best thing about them is that u can buy a big memory card (say 4gb or so) then put music/ films/ tv shows on it.. I have loads of family guy episodes and the screen is much better quality then anything else for the money.PS3..I have one of these and LOVE IT. The graphics are great and one thing no one bares in mind is that they say the graphics between the 2 systems are the same. But the xbox has been out a year so developers have got more accustomed to the software available.. Give it a year and due to the PS3's blueray capabilities the games will just be on another level to the xbox. Plus there more reliable, they have card slots for cameras and mp3 players to download music. My one gripe is that xbox live is better then ps3 online but xbox live is £30 a year, PS3 is free.Xbox 360..I do like these, the games at the moment are class and the xbox live is great. But they do have a few flaws. The power pack is HUGE will the ps3 doesn't have one, there very prone to breakng (red ring of death) and it can take up2 3 weeks to get it fixed were as the PS3 is very reliable. It runs on DVD' which limits how big the games can be, while DVD is like 8GB, Blue ray is more like 40GB. Thats like the difference between theme hospital and Half life 2!! Plus many people buy these because there cheaper then ps3.. but this isn't exactly true:PS3: 3 games, 2 controllers (built in charger), PS3, 60GB = £425Xbox 360: 1 game, 1 contoller, Xbox, 40GB = £275buy sperate: 2 games, 1 controller, xbox live, battery packs (since the xbox controllers use batteries were as the ps3 are charged off the console) = £160Xbox 360 = £435 (ish)

If money is no option and out of the question.PS3 is lightyears better than 360. Built in BluRay, Wifi, BlueTooth, Internet Browser, Multimedia connectivity, the list goes on and on.Microsoft dropped the ball in my opinion by rushing the 360 to beat the PS3 to the market. The left out to many thing that you have to now buy ass add ons, where in the PS3 they are all built in. When you break it down PS3 gives you more bang for your buck and its exclusives titles look better than anything on 360.Later.
