Help Me Choose The rigth Video Card ?

Hey guys I just have a simple question. I have a PCI SLOT...And I would Like to Play some games..Not anything hardcore..Just some Halo Pc ..Thats It..So I have Narrowed Down My Choices.. None, I'd get Nvidia 7600

im no computer expert or nothing but a lot of people from circuit city and places like that told me that any video card will play the game if the ard has enough memoryso if a game needs a 256MB card all you need is one that is 256MB

that is wrong on some many levels i really don't even know where to start
i'll sum it all up and say: "there is a reason why so many VCs are coming out, basically because of new technology's and filters"

if you can wait i would suggest it in order to get the new 9600GT/GS which is due to come out this months and actually expected to have a pretty low price.
And even if the price will still be too big for you all other existing VCs will drop their prices.
