Perfect World http://feature.mmosite.com/perfectworld/Open Beta now, Perfect World is a full-feature 3D online game that is based on rich Chinese mythology and set in the world of Pangu. Malaysian version is completely english and no IP block.Guild wars http://guildwars.mmosite.com/takes the best elements of today's massively multiplayer online games and combines them with a new mission-based design that eliminates some of the more tedious aspects of those games. You can meet new friends in towns or outposts, form a party, and then go tackle a quest together. Your party always has its own unique copy of the quest map, so camping, kill-stealing, and long lines to complete quests are all things of the past. Within a Guild Wars quest you have unprecedented freedom and power to manipulate the world around you; with the dynamic quest system, your accomplishments have a unique influence on your future. You don't have to spend countless hours on a leveling treadmill to get to the interesting parts of the game, because combat is designed to be strategically interesting and challenging right from the beginning. You don't have to spend hours running around the world to prepare for a quest, because Guild Wars allows you to instantly travel to the beginning of any quest that you've previously unlocked. You'll never spend days playing, only to discover that the choices you made early have left you with a permanently uncompetitive character. The unique skill system in Guild Wars encourages infinite experimentation but doesn't allow early choices to limit a character. And you'll never meet new players only to discover that you can't play with them or compete against them because their characters are on a different server than yours; in Guild Wars, all characters live in one seamless world. maple story http://feature.mmosite.com/maplestory/a great MMORPG by Nexon(KR). It is a side scroller but very fun. There are a lot of places to go and lots of towns. There is more then one island and lots of places to hunt. If you like animation style mmo, this one would be your first choice. You tend to start playing and two hours will go by befor you know it. Great game to play you should go try it out. Runescape http://feature.mmosite.com/runescape/Not the most visually pleasing game but what can you expect from a browser game. Very good gameplay, very addictive. No real story line. Many items, abundance of skills to learn fishing, cooking, smithing etc. A well made game with both free and p2p servers. Over 100,000 people playing at peak times. You can also pay a monthly fee of 5$ to get access to new areas, skills, and items. Runescape is Java basedYou can do some more research on this gamelist, http://gamelist.mmosite.com or just look at the ranking board at the frontpage, high ranking means good game.

Only free MMORPG I know of that is actually good, would have to be RuneScape. If you are willing to wait a while, Earth Eternal is coming out soon, which is 100% free.

56kuser i'm pretty sure wow isn't free
and as for fps I don't think there are any good free ones as if they were played in a web browser it would be extremely hard to get good graphics. I think you want to be turning more towards commercial ones.

for a mmorpg i suggest runescape-completely addicting, yu can play free all your life, but to get additional in game services and other game activities you'll have to pay, i think its 6$ a month

As a first person shooter i suggest "gunzonline", this one too is addicting, it is completely free and multiplayer, the sword duels, gunz action and cool armours only add to the incredable gameplay.
