Guild Wars- Can you change your character's name?

I was looking at the rules of conduct and came upon this..."For unacceptable character names, a mark will be placed against the account and the character will be blocked. This means that the character and all the inventory items and attainments associated with it will be inaccessible until the character has been renamed. I don't have a naughty character name, but wondered...is it possible to change a current name without deleting? If there is and you know how, please tell me! Thanks in advance!

Under normal situations, no.If you get marked for an inappropriate name, the next time you try to use that character, it will pop up a window forcing you to pick a new name in order to continue.
