can my computer play crysis on high?

I guess I was wrong because it seems to be laggy. They were saying it was the best graphics card on the market. I have a really nice 24 in hp 1920 x 1200 and i set it to that resolution and put it to medium quality and it still lags what do you suggest i should do. PLZ HELP ME GUYZ

Wow, it shouldnt lag on medium with that. I suggest you take it back to them and tell them that.By the way, that isnt nearly the fastest card on the market. The fastest single card is the nvidia 280 gtx

Your playing at that High resolution. The CPU is one of the best but not the best. There are about 6 graphics cards that are faster than that. The Ram in that computer is SLOW but theres alot but doesnt mean anything if its SLOW. My 2GB or 1066 is faster than 6GB of that. Lower the resolution and you will get better frames per second. Most people using that size of monitor use 2 GPUs in SLI or Crossfire.

1st of all, your resolution is too high.i have a 9600 GT overclocked like crap and i play it on high with no lag and all filters on max with a resolution set on 1280x1024.2nd, they lied to you.a 9800GT is not the fastes card on the market.It would be if it was a month ago because technology advances and advances every day.

I think it's gonna be a problem to play at High with that machine. Try the Normal mode, it's not so bad. When you play at dark places there's some problems but nothing that will change your game even a little bit. I hope I helped you a little.
