Ok..I just recently uploaded a Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for mobile. I'm 13 and I was uploading updates for my laptop. So I updated Intel..every since I uploaded, my internet is so slow! Before I updated it, it was fast. But now...it's really slow and it loses the internet even if I'm connected. Do I really need a graphics card? When it says "Mobile" does it mean it's for a cell phone or for a laptop? I easily get confused and I'm on summer vacation so my brain is turned off. Can someone please help??

Ok, try using Mozilla Firefox if you don't have that. Also, if you are on a special plan maybe your broadband or whatever you use may have slowed down because you have used over the megabytes. If all fails uninstall the update if you can? If that fails you may have to system restore your computer. If you have XP you should have a cd. Insert that and make your computer go back to it's original factory setting. Or, if you have vista, or no cd, start your computer and when it is starting press the f(something) button, i dont know, your computer should say it on the start up... maybe it is F6, contact someone.

graphics card is an expansion card whose function is to generate and output images to a display. A graphics card works along the same principles. The CPU, working in conjunction with software applications, sends information about the image to the graphics card. The graphics card decides how to use the pixels on the screen to create the image.

Did you open the display properties and make sure that the display adapter / monitor is showing the correct graphics card? When I installed my last graphics card, my monitor was set to "generic plug & play" and I had to select the correct adapter in order to make any changes. It's also possible that the old card's drivers are messing things up, so make sure you uninstalled (you may have to uninstall both now, and then reinstall the new card from scratch). Other than that, it's possible something just didn't install correctly. In which case, do it again.
