Hello!

My name is Helena Cole & I am a WoW and AoC player.

I am currently doing a research project at the Nottingham Trent University following our recent publication in the Journal of Cyberpsychology and Behaviour (Cole, H. & Griffiths. M. D. 2007, Social Interactions in MMORPGs).

I am looking for MMORPG players over 18 years of age who have 5 - 10 minutes to spare to fill out an online questionnaire.

The research is investigating social interactions, romantic relationships and personality traits of players.
It is a positive piece of work towards gaming, I am trying to break down the negative stereotypes that newspapers seem all too keen to encourage!

Admin is right, I'm not related in any way to ekresearcher, professionally or otherwise.

I think he/she is based in USA and I'm in the UK. I did see his post though and was quite surprised there was someone else doing research at the same time! I guess it's becoming a popular research choice for university students, especially those who like gaming!
