Getting back into Everquest II...?

I canceled my Everquest II account about 7 months ago, and deleted it from my PC. Now, I am thinking about getting back into it, so I was wondering if I could just sign on to my station account and re download everything, free of charge, and still have my old account, or am I going to have to start from scratch and pay again?

dont even start again, it will drain your soul, take over your life, let the game go, i just recently quit wow, and am bored as hell.

I believe you can download the EQ2 installer and it will download all the files you need. You'll just have to pay the monthly fee to play.

I didn't check the link above but there should be a way to download the patcher and download it from there. I'd start the download and take a nap or mow the yard. It'll probably be a few hours.I've thought about going back but EQII took too much of my time ... to the point it was all I did when not working. My social life went down the tubes in favor of an online social life. That's partly what is holding me back.

I actually just re-installed the game yesterday after a 1 year vacation.I still had the original disks.... after loading from the disks i connected online... it took about 1 hour or so for the downloaded content...on the log in page was a link to re-activiate my account... i picked my options and bingo bango.. just like old times.my characteres were still in the placed i'd signed them out at. Their Bank accounts were exactly as i'd left them... even the little 2 room condo my main character had was intact... i just walked up to the door... paid my next weeks rent and everything was still inside.as i said... i was gone for a year... was on Venketor (a pvp server)... man has the polulation dropped... was both more enjoyable and less..... more in that i could solo and harvest without being ganked by wandering hordes... less because when i wanted a little pvp it took a lot of work.....couldnt just fly the griff to Thundering stepps for the gankfest anymore... :(I hear they did a server merge.... sounds like Nagafen has the most people if that what you're looking for... i'm going to make a toon and see for myself tonight if its like it used to be. good luck
