Society Policy on Trading or Sharing

It is an very important question especially in a mmorpg as economically oriented as Pirates of the Burning Sea. Some societies encourage trading to motivate their members and make the production more efficient. Some societies encourage sharing to distribute goods more evenly among their members.

The Armada encourages both. There is no law or regulation of how you can trade or share. But every time a society member was helped by another, he/she can report it in the reputation tracking section of our forum. At the same time, any successful trade could also be reported.

At the end of every week, the secretary looks over the reputation tracking forum and assign reputation to each users. These reputation points should indirectly impact election results. Please go to the reputation tracking forum for more details.

We hope that such policy encourages our members to share, yet not feel obligated to do so. We adapt to this policy because we feel that it's very important to create such comfort zone within our community. If anyone has thoughts regarding this topic, we'd love to hear them.
