Default Help with new computer?

I am looking to buy a new pc: AMD X2 DUAL CORE @ 3.0GHz4GB 800MHz RAMATI RADEON 3850 512mb Graphics CardIm not sure however if this setup will run Age of Conan in high settings with a high framerate, as i have heard ATI cards dont run AOC well. Is this true? And if it is what can i do about it? Should i change my setup in anyway? 10points for the best answer, thanks.

The 9600 Gainwood graphics cards are very good you can plug 2 power cord into them from your PSU and have a Nvidia chipset inthem, you can get Kingston gamers RAM in DDR2 at 1026 and i think 1200 MHZ, have a look at there web site. That should spark thing up. Have fun

change your graphics card to Nvidia geforce 9800M GTX, i am sure you'r motherboard will support it and it's a gr8,extremely gr8 graphics card... you can run any games with max settings with this graphics card.

Go with a 4850, it is $200. You didn't say what motherboard you are using but if you run with a good AMD chipset the nvidia cards WILL NOT work. AMD uses ATI graphics in mind as they built their newer systems and it is called the SPIDER PLATFORM. Yes price for price the AMD CPU's and the SPIDER TECH mainboards perform the same as Intel but perform better with ATI graphics cards. The 4000 series is a new card just released in the first of July and they both 4850 and the 4870 are giving nvidia a run for their money. The 4870 is better than the 8800, 9800 and 260 nvidia cards, the 280 is better and released @ $630 a piece, but when the 4870 came out that week for $300 the nvidia crew had to start cutting prices on that card down to $550... Get the hint. If you have a billion dollars and don't care how much you spend get the best around, if not then just go with a CLOSE second for half the price...
