But facts are facts huh. so why will you have so much system ram with a lame graphics unit? i know i like my graphics to be better system ram is a low standard when it comes to games you could have 4 gb's of ram on a pc and still not even be able to play any games without a good graphics card. and nvidia is the top graphics obviously, thats why wii went with ATI Hollywood cause it was cheaper and that its cheaper on the Xbox also. The Ps3 Comes Top of The Line And without Flaws it do's matter about the Blu-ray . More room too program for drakes fortune, Gran Turismo 5 And way more. Xbox couldnt even handle drakes fortune 6 gb's of space lol.And as for the Cores maybe you didnt read right but each of those 7 (Seven) Processing cores perform 210 Gflops The Xbox Max's out at 1000 Gflops. Hmmm? lol which one would be betterAnd for The comment about games i will never see on the ps3. every game for the Xbox Is on the Pc also lol. i can buy a usb Playstation controller (LOOK-A-LIKE) at bestbuy and play every game that you can play on the 360 lol. even halo eventually comes out on the Pc now. But ps3 Exclusives yea you will see plenty in 2008 that you wont see any where else or be able to play unless you stand at the gamestore and play the demo's Lol. My pc is 10 x's better than a 360 so i do prefer it over any system but i can play every game that xbox has even bioshock and i plan on it. so whats the facts when their was none that couldnt be countered. xbox is just a rip-off machine. they should have just stucked to making Windows and been happy but everyone knows that microsoft is money hungry lol least the ps3 has free internet also, and in no way shape or form is the xbox360 better than the Ps3.

Default Ps3 - Xbox360 | War...?

Please get your facts straight. Even if PS3 has so much cores, none of these cores can use a unified memory. They have to copy a lot of info to and from memorty, without actually doing something. The Xbox Cores handle this much batter for games. But one after another:First: The Xbox has 512 MB System RAM as you state. The PS3 only has 256. This way, the Xbox was able to do a lot of stuff in the background, like Friendlists avaliable across all games, Instant Messaging etc.As I said above: The Xbox's memory architecture is specially designed for games. So the cores can use the other core's memory information, a core can be used in multiple ways and massively parallelize. The PS3's cores are very specialized, and if one core can't do an instruction due to it's specialization, it has to copy all its data to another memory, so another core can use it, which makes the PS3 slower than the Xbox 360 in a "real world" environment (I know, that the PS3 kicks major a** at Folding@home scientific stuff). Please read the first link below for actual benchmarks of the hardware. The Xbox with its 3 cores is with the exception of floating point calculations always faster than the PS3.And if the PS3 is so superior: Why is Madden only running at 30 Frames per Second on the PS3, but 60 frames per second on Xbox 360?Then the Storage of Blue Ray: A PC has virtually unlimited storage for games on it's harddisc. Even more than the PS3's 50 GB Blue Ray stuff. However, almost every game will fit on a normal double layered DVD. Most games don't even take that space.Sony wastes this space by putting uncompressed audio and textures on the disc. And due to the slow seeking speed of the Blue Ray format sometimes places often read data twice on the disc, so the PS3 can jump to the nearest sector of the disc for this data.So the game companies don't need that space. And compression algorithms further minimize the need for larger storage media.Furthermore: The Blue Ray format allows the Movie Industry to shut down your PS3, if it is found to allow ripping of Blue Ray Movies. The PS3 has to store this shutdown key irrevokeably in its memory, thus prohibiting your PS3 to play any Blue Ray movie. Even the ones you already bought and own.And finally: You list an impressive list of games. But how many games are also playable on other consoles?Face it: The PS3 sells poorly. And therefore not a lot of publishers risk their programming investment on a console, that is not that distributed like other consoles. Therefore the Xbox has and will get a lot of exclusive games, that you never see on the PS3. For example the recently released Bioshock. Only on PC and Xbox 360. However past PS exclusives like Devil May Cry, Katamari Damacy and others are now on the Xbox, too.As hard as it is for a true Sony Fanboy: The PS3 is currently loosing the console war. And a fact is a fact. No matter how you spin it.

To the dude that said that 360 cores = memory--- THe cores the questioner is reffering to is the processor which is the ability to run calculations and multicalculations... Games are run on calculations......THe ps3 is capable of faster multiple processing then the 360.... THe exclusives you mention going to 360 have cheapened graphics and less gaming on the 360 due to the 360's limited 8 gig dvd disc space whereas the ps3 has 50 gig blueray.... So enjoy your 360 we enjoy our ps3 especially when our 360 is consitantly in for repairs.... Also in need of mentioning is the fact that the 360 and Elite are locked into an outdated DX 9 graphics system which cannot be upgraded... 360 is incapable of full 3d and 4d motion realism whereas teh ps3 is two generations ahead of the 360 with the RSX card capable of full 3d and 4d motion realism and more....So when you look at the "next Generation Gaming system" As defined by microsoft the 360 would be considered the 7th and the ps3 skip a generation and would be considered an 8th generation in the evolutionary scales....

Thanks for gathering up this important information and sharing it with other gamers. I am looking forward to owning a PS3 soon. I am a PlayStation fan, and I believe that the PS3 is a better, all around capable machine than the x-box 360.

Answer this for me: of that huge list of games on PS3, which ones are going to be worth playing? And to narrow that list down further, which ones are PS3 exclusive? Oh yeah the only one is MGS. So, you'd rather have a system that all of its good games will be released on xbox 360 just so you can say that its hardware is better on paper? Come on, PS2 proved that you didn't need the best graphics to be the best. Sadly for sony I think they are fighting a losing battle. Just look at this holiday season. Xbox 360 will have a crap load of quality games that are only gonna be on 360 like mass effect and halo 3. And what is PS3's exclusive title(s)? LAIR haha which i saw in a magizine and got a 5/10? have fun playing that while Im shooting some people up in halo 3 and bioshock...
