That's one of the most annoying aspects of this game. The first time I played I took a small break for a few days and lost the paper where I wrote down the pin. So I had to create a new account, it was rather frustrating. And for a first timer they might not take the pin too seriously and forget it or even type it incorrectly. They should also improve the recovery system for it.
