Without regard to the double class claim.... basically..... gatherers make the most money.... things like Skinning mobs, Herbalist, Mining, Looting mobs.... anything you gather goes on the Auction house... or if its gray or white junk then on a vendor. A Shaman is certainly strong enough to take down the mobs at most any spawn site so farming will go well for you. Same with grinding... it will be ok for a Shaman just be sure to do all the Quests available AND doable by you for best XP gain. After that seek out spawn sites and do your grinding there.
