how did I invented a character that exists?
Pretty remote indeed...but you want to know something? I wrote a poem back in high school which was MANY, many years ago....and one day a couple of years back I'm looking through a greeting card site and THERE WAS MY POEM!!I was totally dumbfounded. I wrote the site owner and asked them where they got the poem as I had written it decades ago and was sure I never gave it to anyone. They didn't have a record of who gave it to them...and they asked me if I wanted it taken down but I said no. I just wanted to know who could have possibly put it up there...what are the chances someone else would write 20 lines or so almost identical except for one or two lines?Freaky indeed.
