Moderator Application
1. How much time are you available to devote to MMOTP?
Hmmm this one is tough as my hours vary. I'm putting down numbers just to put them down, but truly, I check in at my forums at varying times through out the day, and stick around as much as new posts may warrant. IE if there are no new posts within a 24 hour period, barring any projects, there is no reason to spend hours hanging out.

2. Have you had past Moderating expierence before? If so what website/forum?
Spam Court - A spinoff forum from an old Morrowind forum
www.gamersroam.com - An old Morrowind forum, since closed
www.oblivionfiles.com - Oblivion forum, moderated there pre-release and up through after release of the game.
Rants Refugees - Home - A spinoff forum from an old Horizons forum
Veritas Aequitas Forums - GuildPortal Guild Hosting - Guild website initially created and admined by myself. Gave up adminship when I quit playing.
Have also had a few other guild related websites that I don't remember addresses for as unfortunately they were short-lived.
3. What is your monthly desired pay? (Keep in mind we are on a budget)
Never been paid as a mod before, so didn't really expect it. Not that I would complain, though!
4. Why do you want to be part of the MMOTP staff?
I think I bring a great amount of MMORPG experience to the community, in addition to experience moderating game-related forums.
5. If one of our members were to insult you, go to a low level with you and say awful things that might offend you. How would you handle this situation? Please be extremely specific with this question.
I try to bring situations like this out of the forums and to private messages. They aren't things that everyone else needs to be reading. I am a person that likes to deal in logic, and often use logic against people who would troll. It's like kryptonite to them, you know.
Seriously though, I use logic to try to diffuse the situation. Or, if they troll just to be total aholes, I either play along or ignore them, depending on the situation. Unfortunately, sometimes with those trolls, the only way to gain their respect is to take it on the chin.
But as for them being offense and what other actions I might take, I suppose it depends on how offensive their comments may be to others in the forum, and what the specific guidelines are, if any.
Immediate banning is rarely the answer, as it is often looked upon as censorship. Although I do support temporary bannings, such as a one-week read but no posting ban.
I'm not sure how much more specific I can be.
