you can certainly make money by doing dungeon runs like scarlet monastary. sell everything you get there... go through the cathedral and you can grab all the rares from the boss at the end. sell the silk, sell everything in auction house. materials like cloth, leather, etc are in high demand because some people are just too lazy to get it on their own.in redridge mountains there's a path that leads up past the village, past the ogres and leads into blackrock mountain. right before you hit blackrock mountain there's an area where you can skin for hours and hours and hours and make tons of gold. that's how i did it. the boars you kill are lvl 16 or so and they respawn immediately.
