Default AMD's Front Side Bus vs. Intel's?

In personal computers, the Front Side Bus (FSB) is the data transfer bus that carries information between the CPU and the northbridge of the Motherboard. That means the speed of FSB decides how fast the processor will communcate with other devices including memory. Two similar processors working on different FSB speeds may have different performance. So the actual performance is a factor of both - processor performance and FSB speed. Intel processor is better because it has more on chip-cache and that is a critical component for processor performance, but FSB is better in the other case. If I am to make a choce, i will try to buy the intel processor and buy the motherboard with a chipset that supports higher FSB.I hope It helps.
