Default AMD's Front Side Bus vs. Intel's?

I'm looking at laptops and noticed that AMD's Front Side Bus is typically 1600 MHz, whereas Intel's is 667 to 800 MHz. I've looked at other answers and found an explanation that AMD's FSB is built-in to the CPU or something like that. Furthermore, someone said that AMD's FSB cycle speed is moot because the DDR2 RAM can't go that fast.My question is: Does Intel's lower FSB (667 MHz) gives a lower performance? Please don't respond saying: "Pick Intel, they perfom better", or "Pick AMD it's cheaper". I'm looking for a little explanation as to how system performance is affected by the two FSB's of both chips. If you want more info, assume the AMD is a Turion(TM) 64 X2 TL-60: 2.0GHz, FSB 1600 MHz; and the Intel is a Core 2 Duo T5750: 2.0 GHz, FSB 667 MHz.
