Never say it
It may seem obvious but whatever happens in game, you must not say your password. It is true that some sites block it out but one misspelling and people could guess your password.
On the same subject, if you make your password something obvious like "pizza" when saying something in game it would come up as "I like pepperoni *****" and people could easily guess your password.
Don't write it down
It's not just hackers that can steal your account. Your devilish little brother/ sister could steal it as well and if you have your password lying on your desk then it won't be too hard for them! So the best place to keep your password is in your head.
Please also bear in mind that if you tell your friends your password you could be banned for sharing accounts
Make sure you are only logging in on the correct website or software
Clones of the games log on page can easily be made so always make sure that you are on the right website. Equally you should not use the same password on any fansites or in fact any sites for maximum security.
What is a good password?
Do:
-Make it at least 8 characters wrong
-Have a mix of letters and numbers
-Avoid repeating characters like "aaaa"
Don't:
-Pick a number to do with you as in a birthday or house number
-Use anything to do with your name or account name
-Use a series of letters on your keyboard such as "qwerty" as these are very common
Thanks,
Homie
